Similar Pipeline Projects

The Oil and Gas Industry has moved into deeper and deeper waters over the last 15 years, and numerous large diameter gas transmission pipelines such as Blue stream and Medgaz have been installed in depths of up to 2,200 meters. Pipelines such as Galsi are planned in depths of ~2,800 meters.

The SAGE Pipeline/MEIDP is the Deepest Submarine Pipeline planned to date, with a maximum depth of ~ 3400 meters below sea level. Below shows the development of submarine pipelines into deeper and deeper water over the last 2 decades.
